Original aircraft dashboard panel used as the reference component

Project Overview

This project involved redesigning an aircraft dashboard panel using reverse engineering and CAD modelling techniques. The goal was to recreate the original geometry and develop an improved digital model that could support further design and manufacturing.

Challenge

The dashboard panel contained multiple openings and mounting features that required accurate reconstruction to ensure proper alignment with the cockpit structure.

Solution

The existing panel geometry was analysed and reconstructed using reverse engineering and CAD modelling tools. The digital model was refined to ensure accurate dimensions and clean surface geometry suitable for further design and manufacturing.

Result
